Application Support Engineer

TITLE: Application Support Engineer LOCATION: REMOTE Chicago or Dallas) DURATION: 6+ month

Responsibilities

• Provide application and product support to internal teams. • Provide reports to and interact with product engineering and issues that have been identified. • Take appropriate steps to bring any open support cases to resolution in a timely manner. • Own support cases to their complete resolution. • Create internal and external knowledge base articles based on product information provided by engineering or based on questions asked by users. • Maintain the information available on the customer support portal, ensuring documentation, software, and knowledge base articles are up to date.

Desired Qualifications • BS in Computer Science, or a related STEM field, MS preferred. • At least 2 years of experience with software development in Python • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) • Experience with requirements elicitation, writing epics and user stories with acceptance criteria • Ability to work closely with Product Owners and translate functional requirements into user stories • Ability to succeed in fast paced environment with changing requirements and priorities. • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence or experience with similar tools • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong documentation skills, and a strong ability to communicate technical concepts. • Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong sense of collaboration, ownership, urgency, and client commitment. Preferred Qualifications • Passion for the ESG & Sustainability space • Prior experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, and visualization • Experience with the Workiva platform and process automation using wData • Knowledge of the ESG reporting frameworks, such as SASB, GRI, Bloomberg ESG, CDP, and TCFD • Experience in data analytics and BI tools including but not limited to Power BI and Google Looker • Experience in ETL tools like Alteryx, Informatica, and Azure Databricks
