About the role
Job details: Role : Hadoop/Big Data Support Charlotte, NC 12+ month’s contract W2 Contract
Roles and Responsibilities: • Hadoop/Big Data Support • Senior level – 7+ years of exp. big data environment experience • Manage BAU and production support team for Hadoop administration and development • Support the environment and app teams to troubleshoot and get issues resolved. Support production. Manage level 3 support • Migrating away from level 1 and level 2 support so work with those teams during transition • Mongo DB exp is a component – rest API is also where they pull the data from • Middleware and Kafka implementation exp would be nice to have • Good understanding of what development teams are doing. Development work in the past is a plus. Understand what they’re implementing and troubleshoot. • Financial services is a plus – risk and finance data system that they are working with
