L2/L3 Application Support Engineers

Role- L2/L3 Application Support Engineers Duration- 6 Months Location- New York City or Woodbridge, NJ or Charlotte, NC – 3 days onsite/2 remote Requirements: 5+ years of application support (L2/L3) Experience in Incident management, independently handling Incident Triage calls. Exposure to monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk Ability to self-start and independently drive efficiency improvement projects. Banking/Risk/enterprise background Good working experience in Windows / Linux based platforms Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment Day to Day: This team supports a huge environment of applications, with a mix of .NET, Java, Cloud, and On-Prem. This person must understand upstream and downstream for support. They must have a high level of understanding of the applications and what is going on before investigating. They are primarily focusing on data availability and data quality. This person must understand what the reoccurring issues are for the application and be able to come up with a proposal to mitigate them as they work with stakeholders. Job Description: This position is a senior level technical role that will execute application support of production systems with a focus on incident management, problem management, change/release, and other ITIL based functions. The individual will need to lead discussions and collaboration with development and business teams and be able to develop a deep understanding of applications and business functionality. This role requires the ability to operate independently and help transform and mature the support organization. The position will be working in a corporate environment with large, complex, and critical applications across a wide range of technologies.
