About the role
Role: Network/VMware engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Top Skills: • VMWare (V realize is a plus) • Windows • RedHat/Linux D2D: • Building VM manually – 50% building, 25% troubleshooting, 25% other • Adding Memory, CPU, disc • Decommissioning previous servers • Troubleshooting L1&2 issues Skills: • Windows/Linux • Ansible • PowerShell • Config. Management Background: • 8-10 years • Server Admin/Engineer Assists in planning and evaluation of existing network systems. Provides input on network planning, engineering and architecture. Assists with troubleshooting networks. Assists with wiring, cabling and installation of hardware and software. Skills: Bachelor's or equivalent and relevant experience. Formal training in Wide Area Networking and Local Area Networking. Familiarity with network protocols. Typically some Microsoft, or UNIX, or Appletalk networking familiarity.
