Senior Release Manager

Job Title : Senior Release Manager Location: PLANO , TX 75075 or BOTHELL WA 98011 Duration: 12+ Months Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View • Define release plans to meet the needs of the business and delivery dates • Executes on release plans that enable all teams to complete deliverables and ensure a successful deployment • Monitor and provide approvals for code builds to staging environments • Coordinate with Product Management to identify defects that would prevent the release deployment • Create change request tickets an obtain approvals for production deployments • Create and maintain release wiki and workbook identifying features, user stories, and components • Conduct a release readiness review to obtain a Go/NoGo vote for deployment from the key stakeholders of the release • Host and drive the release deployments to ensure proper engagement from all needed teams • Provide release communications regarding the status of the release deployment • Conduct release retrospect after each release Required Qualifications • 10+ years of Software Release Management experience within high tech industry with proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful release throughout its lifecycle • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders • Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development, web technologies, and communications • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop release contingency plans • Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic, and demanding environment • Ignite innovation and change to enhance delivery of customer-focused results • Process Management • Data Gathering and Reporting • Emerging Technologies • Ignite innovation and change • Technical skills would include; Jira, Scaled Agile Framework; Excel • Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field • 2+ years working within a scaled agile environment.
