SQL Database Manager , HYBRID POSITION, (C2C)OWN COPRORATION OR W2 CONTRACT

ROLE: SQL Database Manager Duration: 1 year+Location: Hamilton, NJ - candidates must be local since interviews are on-site hybrid (3 days on-site in Hamilton, NJ). Candidates must be local to New Jersey as interviews will be on-site only. This is a 1+ year contract opportunity and will be hybrid (3 days on-site in Hamilton, NJ). The Database Manager will provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, documentation, and maintenance of an internal database and related systems. Responsibilities and Duties:· Responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the Relational/SQL databases, data warehouse, and reporting infrastructure for all applications.· Design, develop, and maintain database solutions and data warehousing to support enterprise application services, reporting, and analytics, including architecture/design, data modeling, documentation, policies, and standards.· Analyze system requirements and migration methods for existing data in legacy systems.· Plan, architect and optimize the data infrastructure to integrate with future systems.· Maintain legacy reporting as well as design and implement new reporting and data availability models. Design, implement, and support data models, databases, and DW solutions to meet the long-term goals of the client.· Develop and implement OLTP schemas, and comprehensive testing plans for validating data transformation and integration and develop key metrics to ensure the integrity of data architecture.· Responsible for taking ownership of their assigned tasks, working independently, and delivering results in an iterative approach adhering to the sprint deadlines.· Must work collaboratively with the team of developers, Technical Lead, Architect, Business SME’s, and Project Managers.· Recognizes problems and responds, systematically gathers information, sorts through complex issues, seeks input from others, addresses the root cause of issues, makes timely decisions, can make difficult decisions, uses consensus, when possible, communicates decisions to others, and rapidly adapts to change. Required Education and Experience

· 7+ years of Database design, SQL/TSQL development, SSMS, SSIS, SSAS & SSRS experience. 1-2+ years on AWS RDS.

· Prior experience using various reports including SSRS (required) for report development.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related field.

· Experience in Database modeling, architecture design, development, backup & recovery, and administration. Required 5 Years.

· SQL Server scripting and programming in various platforms, detailed analysis, and design. Required 5 Years.

· Experience in rapidly building new relational data models, tables, views, functions, grants, triggers, stored procedures, indexes, and other database components to support the existing & new development features in an agile environment. Required 5 Years.

· SQL development (SSMS), Microsoft Power BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) Required 5 Years.

· Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures. Required 5 Years.

· Familiarity with developing Restful APIs for database layer, and web application architecture. Required 5 Years.

· Strong expertise in analyzing and converting hierarchical data into relational data, including descriptions and diagrams. Required 5 Years.

Desired Education and Experience

· Knowledge/Experience in developing, hosting & managing databases on AWS RDS.

· Knowledge/Experience implementing database designs, and transactions for microservice architecture.

· Experience in application modernization and migrating legacy platform’s data models (Mainframes or similar).

· Experience with GitHub, JIRA, .Net Core, EF core, Dapper, DataLake, Redshift, Docker/Kubernetes container services

· Scripting and programming under Oracle using PL/SQL Nice to have 1 Year.

· Knowledge/Experience in developing, hosting & managing databases on AWS RDS. Nice to have 1 Year of Knowledge/Experience

· Implementing database designs, and transactions for microservice architecture. Nice to have 1 Year.

· Experience in application modernization and migrating legacy platform’s data models (Mainframes or similar). Nice to have 1 Year.
