UI/UX Designeer

Role: UI/UX Designer. 100% remote Duration: 6+ month contract The candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of application flow, ease of use, and simplistic design; and the ability to introduce and apply best practices for design across the team. Experience with front-end application development – including JS, HTML, React, React-Native – will be helpful. Duties and Responsibilities: As a UI/UX Designer, the candidate will help conceptualize and design inspired, user-centered solutions to business problems by: Understanding, analyzing, and evaluating user needs Working with product stakeholders to identify pain points and devise innovative solutions Developing wireframes and workflows that are intuitive and efficient Designing and implementing user interfaces that will promote a high level of adoption by stakeholders Optimizing existing user interface designs Qualifications Education/Experience Required 5+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX analysis and design The ability to convey complex concepts in a simple manner An eye for visual design Familiarity with Adobe XD user experience design tool Ability to create clickable prototypes Experience implementing new designs using HTML, CSS, and JS The ability to communicate, both verbally and through writing, with a wide range of stakeholders Candidates must provide a portfolio or list of links representative of their work Skills: Strong interpersonal skills; customer-centric attitude. Proven team player and team builder Strong organizational and analytical skills Skilled at managing difficult conversations Ability to manage to project deadlines on time and within budget Physical Demands: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
