Costing and Commercial Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain standard cost for automation machines and systems. • Analyze and estimate the cost of purchased components, fabricated parts, machined parts, and assemblies. • Prepare BOM-based costing and support product cost optimization. • Understand manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, sheet metal, and standard machine elements. • Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate product costing. • Support new product costing, design changes, and value engineering initiatives. • Knowledge of machine commissioning/missioning parts and costing will be an added advantage. • Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills is preferred. Preferred candidate profile 6-10 years in product costing or manufacturing costing. • Experience in automation, special purpose machines (SPM), industrial equipment, or machine building. • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of manufacturing processes and standard costing.
