About the role
Role & responsibilities Design and develop AIS & GIS substations ranging from 33kV to 765kV . Prepare detailed engineering drawings, including GA layouts, elevations, grounding, conduit, lighting, and control house layouts . Perform electrical design calculations for grounding, lightning protection, cable sizing, conduit fill, and lighting . Select and size major electrical equipment such as transformers, busbars, cables, and associated components . Use engineering software like ETAP, CDEGS, WinIGS, Mathcad, and DIALux for design and analysis. Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Transmission Line, and Communication teams for multidisciplinary project execution. Ensure designs comply with IEC, IEEE, NESC, and client-specific standards . Review engineering deliverables, attend client meetings, and support project execution within schedule and budget. Mentor junior engineers, perform quality checks, and contribute to engineering process improvements and automation. Support proposal preparation, cost estimation, project planning, and deliver high-quality substation design packages for global T&D projects. Preferred candidate profile Graduation Mandatory Diploma in Electrical Engineering
