Location: Jamnagar Experience Required: 5-8 Years Qualification: BE/B.Tech - Mechanical Open Positions: 3 Kindly share your CV: vbhumika@tuv-nord.com Or WhatsApp: +919997373725 Role Overview We are looking for experienced Piping Engineers with strong expertise in Metallic and/or Non-Metallic piping systems for industrial project deployment at Jamnagar. The role involves piping design, layout review, material engineering, and supporting construction execution. Key Responsibilities Common Responsibilities (Both Metallic & Non-Metallic) Prepare and review piping layouts, isometrics, GA drawings & MTOs Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil & structural teams for integrated design Ensure compliance with relevant piping codes & standards Resolve technical queries during construction and provide site support Review vendor drawings, specifications & ensure technical alignment Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning activities Prepare technical documentation, BOQs and support project planning teams Metallic Piping Responsibilities Design & material selection for CS, SS, alloy steel and high-temperature piping Perform pipe thickness calculations & basic stress considerations Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, API standards Support fabrication, welding, and hydrotesting planning Non-Metallic Piping Responsibilities Design & review of FRP, GRP, HDPE, PVC, CPVC and other non-metallic systems Selection of material grades, jointing methods & installation specifications Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO and non-metallic piping codes Support construction teams in specialized handling & joining procedures Required Skills Strong experience in industrial projects (refinery/petrochemical/O&G) Hands-on expertise in piping design software (AutoCAD/PDMS/E3D preferred) Strong understanding of construction sequencing & QA/QC requirements Good communication & coordination skills Immediate joiners or short notice period preferred Candidate Profile 5-8 years of relevant piping engineering experience Experience in both metallic and/or non-metallic systems (any one or both acceptable) Willingness to work at Jamnagar site Strong design understanding + execution exposure
