The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware vSphere, Horizon VDI, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and enterprise infrastructure management. This role involves supporting global customers, troubleshooting complex issues, performing upgrades, and ensuring high availability of virtualized environments. Key Technical Skills VMware vSphere Administration Administer, operate, and manage VMware vSphere Datacenters.Experience with ESXi and vCenter upgrades.Strong knowledge of ESXi CLI and vCenter Appliance (vPostgres database).Expertise in HA, DRS, Cluster Management, and VM Operations.Experience with Authentication, Certificate Management, and Security Hardening.Performance monitoring using esxtop and vSphere Performance Charts.Knowledge of vSphere Networking (Standard Switch, Distributed Switch).Experience with Storage technologies including iSCSI, FC, Software iSCSI, and RDM.Log analysis, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Network troubleshooting using pktcap and Wireshark.VMware PowerCLI scripting experience.Good knowledge of VMware SRM and vSAN.VMware Horizon VDI Administration and management of VMware Horizon environments.Experience managing Horizon Connection Servers and Unified Access Gateways (UAG).Knowledge of BLAST and PCoIP protocols.Golden image preparation for Windows and Linux desktops.Experience with Dedicated, Floating, and Automated Desktop Pools.Knowledge of Instant Clones, RDS Desktops, and Application Pools.NVIDIA GPU configuration for Horizon Desktop Pools.Experience with App Volumes, Writable Volumes, and Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM).Horizon and vSphere upgrade experience.VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) VCF Datacenter Deployment and Administration.Experience with SDDC Manager and VCF component upgrades.Troubleshooting and RCA for VCF, NSX-T, and vSAN (OSA & ESA).Good understanding of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.Basic Linux Administration knowledge. Key Responsibilities Resolve customer issues through phone, email, and remote support sessions.Troubleshoot and escalate issues to vendors as required.Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to resolve complex incidents.Maintain SLA compliance, case documentation, and operational metrics.Participate in Incident Management, Problem Management, PIRs, and RCA activities.Leverage internal knowledge bases, tools, and technical expertise to deliver effective solutions.Ensure high customer satisfaction and service excellence.
