Primary Responsibilities: - Support and maintain Cerner Ambulatory modules including scheduling, documentation, orders, results, and clinical workflows - Analyze ambulatory clinic workflows and translate business and clinical requirements into Cerner configuration solutions - Configure and optimize PowerPlans, PowerForms, documentation workflows, orders management, and clinical decision support - Support day-to-day operations including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and system enhancements - Participate in system upgrades, domain moves, integrated testing, UAT, and go-live support - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinic staff, revenue cycle, and technical teams to improve usability and outcomes - Develop and maintain functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and configuration documentation - Support training, end-user adoption, and knowledge transfer activities - Ensure system configuration aligns with clinical best practices, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements - Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives related to work arrangements and environment. Required Qualifications: - Experience in Acute and Inpatient Documentation - Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Clinical Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Cerner Ambulatory - Experience with clinical documentation, orders, scheduling, and results review - Solid understanding of outpatient / ambulatory clinic workflows - Ability to work directly with clinicians and translate clinical needs into system design - Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills At UnitedHealth Group, the parent company of Optum, the mission is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to live their healthiest life.
