About the role
• Design, develop and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure. Understands how the big picture aligns to the overall strategy. \n• Responsible for 3rd level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN alerts and issues. Responsible for maintenance of all monitoring and reporting systems.\n• Produce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed/deployed. Creating MOPs to change Policy based routing (PBR) and routing protocols like BGP, ISIS and EBGP and IBGP, IPv4 and IPv6. \n• Firewall experience: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA Extensive knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio; routers, switches, wireless, ACS and ISE. Configuring/troubleshooting wireless – Cisco WLC \n• Preferred Configuring/troubleshooting routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. Configuring/troubleshooting LAN switching – VLAN, VTP, STP, Ether Channel. Configuring/troubleshooting quality of service. \n• Network diagnostics, protocols, and disciplines, EIGRP, BGP, eBGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, and MPLS technologies. Strong verbal and written communications skills, and excellent customer support capabilities. Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) \n• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.\n
