Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a project team delivering enterprise-grade web applications for a dynamic client environment. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working across front-end and back-end layers, takes ownership of quality, and brings a disciplined approach to writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code. This is a role for someone who thrives when given meaningful technical challenges and the autonomy to solve them well. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full technology stack, from user interface to data layer Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow developers to translate requirements into high-quality, production-ready features Write clean, well-structured, and thoroughly tested code that adheres to established development standards and best practices Participate actively in code reviews, contributing technical insight and providing constructive feedback to peers Architect and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services in a secure and maintainable manner Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements across both front-end rendering and back-end processing Contribute to technical planning conversations, sprint ceremonies, and solution design discussions Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, with clear communication throughout the process Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for systems, integrations, and architectural decisions Required Qualifications Minimum 6 years of hands-on professional experience in full stack development Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including React or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) Solid back-end development experience with Node.js, Java, or Python Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Demonstrated ability to design, build, and consume RESTful APIs Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience with version control workflows using Git in a collaborative team environment Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes Exposure to CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment automation Knowledge of web accessibility standards and performance optimization techniques Familiarity with TypeScript in a production codebase Prior experience working in a staffing or consulting delivery model What to Expect at Vertraus At Vertraus, consultants are treated as professionals, not resources.
