Apache Camel Developer

Role Overview: You are sought after to join the team as a Senior Apache Camel Developer at ZettaMine. Your role involves independently designing, building, and delivering robust integration solutions within an agile environment. It is essential to adapt to the team's established processes and development practices. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are mandatory, with knowledge of Dutch being an added advantage. You must be available to work within the Dutch time zone. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Apache Camel and Spring Boot. - Build and maintain enterprise integration patterns and routes. - Develop clean, efficient, scalable, and well-tested applications using Java 17 or higher. - Design, develop, and consume REST APIs for seamless system communication. - Work with JPA and PostgreSQL for relational databases. - Manage database schema changes and migrations using Liquibase. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the team's development lifecycle. - Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Ensure application performance, scalability, quality, and responsiveness. - Maintain and enhance existing applications and codebases. - Continuously learn and adopt relevant technologies and best practices. Qualifications Required: Must Have - 810 years of overall IT experience. - Proven experience as a Medior or Senior Developer. - Strong expertise in Apache Camel-based integration development. - Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot. - Strong proficiency in Java 17 or higher. - Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation. - Experience with JPA or equivalent ORM frameworks. - Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases. - Familiarity with Liquibase for database migration management. - Experience working in Agile development environments. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an added advantage). - Availability to work within the Dutch time zone. - Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to align with existing development processes and methodologies. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Docker containerization. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. - Exposure to AWS cloud environments. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
