Summary of the Role

We are seeking a talented Databricks Engineer to backfill for Rajeev Kumar on the UDP project. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Databricks and Azure, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and analytics processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data preparation and analysis.

Optimize existing ETL processes and data workflows for performance and scalability.

Monitor and troubleshoot data issues within the Databricks environment.

Ensure best practices in data governance and security are adhered to.

Develop and maintain documentation for data processing workflows.

Assist in the migration of legacy data systems to Databricks.

Participate in team meetings to discuss project status and deliverables.

Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineering.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have:

Proven experience as a Databricks Engineer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based data solutions.

Experience with ETL tools and data integration.

Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processing issues.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Scala.

Familiarity with data visualization tools.

Experience in the healthcare domain.
