Summary of the Role The Senior Consultant will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing data-driven solutions for our clients. Leveraging strong technical skills and extensive experience, you will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, utilizing advanced technologies to ensure data integrity, and leading projects from conception to completion. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark. Develop ETL processes to gather and transform data from various sources. Utilize Python and Scala for data manipulation and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Optimize existing data workflows for performance and reliability. Work with cloud services like AWS and Azure to enhance data infrastructure. Conduct data quality assessments and ensure compliance with data governance. Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge sharing within the team. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineering. Required Qualifications Must-Have 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Proficient in Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and Scala. Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline development. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure. Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Nice-to-Have Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Experience in Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
