Job Summary: Technician – ESD Calibration & Certification Specialist
About the Role
Join our team in Ocala, FL as a Technician specializing in ESD calibration and certification. You will play a critical role supporting the reliability and safety of advanced electronic equipment by performing hands-on calibrations, certifications, and diagnostics. Responsibilities

Execute calibrations and certifications on ESD mats, monitors, and soldering/rework stations

Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, and maintain electronic, electromechanical, and optical equipment
-
Calibrate air ionizers and verify floor mats and monitors using handheld ESD testers
-
Read and interpret calibration certificates, engineering drawings, and work orders
-
Operate and maintain calibration management software and spreadsheet tracking tools
-
Conduct surface resistance and charge decay measurements, ensuring compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards
-
Use calibrated thermocouples and IR pyrometers to verify solder station temperature accuracy
-
Prepare compounds and solutions as required for test procedures

Document and report calibration data in prescribed formats

Required Skills and Experience
-
1-3 years of hands-on experience calibrating and certifying ESD control equipment and related instrumentation

Proficient in using ESD testers, thermocouples, and IR pyrometers
-
Experience with floor mat testing and monitor verification
-
Familiar with ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards

Proficient in calibration management software and spreadsheet tracking
-
Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, calibration certificates, and work orders

1 year of experience calibrating soldering/rework stations

Preferred Skills

Experience with profiling software

Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics in electro-mechanical systems
