About the role
[About the Role] Join our dynamic team in Archbald, PA as a Manufacturing Engineer and play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes and ensuring top-quality output. This position offers hands-on involvement with electromechanical assemblies, machining, and welding. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and make a direct impact on process efficiency and product excellence.
[Responsibilities]
- Support the disposition and rework of defective hardware to maintain production flow
- Design and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment installation
- Develop efficient plant layouts and machine arrangements to maximize productivity
- Specify operational sequences and procedures for tool and equipment fabrication
- Adapt machine and equipment designs for factory and production conditions
- Integrate inspection and testing requirements into production planning
- Inspect machinery, tools, and equipment performance, initiating corrective actions where necessary
- Develop and apply statistical process control techniques to manufacturing processes
- Provide engineering guidance on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize equipment utilization and manufacturing techniques
- Ensure compliance with all manufacturing processes and procedures
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High school diploma required
- Experience in electromechanical assembly manufacturing
- At least 1 year of hands-on machining experience
- At least 1 year of hands-on welding experience
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with statistical process control
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for equipment and process issues
