Manufacturing Engineer – High-Volume Operations (Onsite)
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting high-volume contact lens production in a state-of-the-art, 24/7 manufacturing facility. You will be hands-on on the production floor, directly impacting process efficiency, product quality, and compliance in a regulated, safety-driven environment. Responsibilities

Provide direct, hands-on support to daily manufacturing operations on the production floor.

Troubleshoot and maintain automation and controls equipment to maximize operational uptime.

Partner with line leaders to resolve production issues and implement effective solutions.

Lead and execute productivity improvement projects focused on efficiency and cost reduction.

Ensure strict adherence to regulated processes, SOPs, and product safety standards.

Collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement.

Constructively challenge processes to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or controls engineering within large-scale, high-volume production environments.

Strong background in automation and equipment troubleshooting.

Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, regulated settings with high accountability.

Preferred Skills
-
Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or life sciences.

Familiarity with plastic injection molding or metrology equipment.

PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification.

Master Molder certification.
