1st Shift: 5:00 AM 1:30 PM

2nd Shift: 1:30 PM 10:00 PM

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM 6:30 AM Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering

Job Description:

Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements of moderate complexity.

Design, develop, analyze, test, evaluate and implement processes and technology insertions by applying industrial engineering techniques and concepts to optimize production system design, operational efficiency and after-market services.

Monitor performance and support production systems to meet operational and functional requirements.

Translate engineering, systems, and mathematical concepts into practical applications throughout the product lifecycle.

Research emerging technologies and develop industrial engineering tools and processes.

Ensure compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.

Support the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into production processes and service operations.

Develop moderately complex models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analysis and metrics for leadership.

Assist with research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, improve quality, and optimize large-scale systems integration and asset utilization.

Lead metrics, data analysis, and improvement plans related to productivity, efficiency, and first-time quality, including Lean+ events, 5S improvement plans, and special initiatives.

Must Haves:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

2+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.

2+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, and/or production environment.

Preferred:

Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.

2+ years of experience working in a team environment.

2+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing and lean principles.

Experience developing and deploying standard processes.

Proficient in structured problem solving.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master + 3 years' related work experience).
