Job Summary: Manufacturing Technician - Contractor - B
About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Technician B, specializing in Kit Verification (FMS) on a 1st shift, 4/10s schedule (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM) in Malabar, FL. This role is essential in supporting manufacturing operations, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring quality standards are met across all production phases. You'll be empowered to solve problems, refine processes, and contribute directly to operational goals within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

Perform kit verification and manage manufacturing floor stock to support all stages of production.

Partner with engineers for equipment set-up, calibration, and process optimization.

Conduct rework, quality testing, and assist in developing procedural controls for manufacturing processes.

Utilize advanced programs to collect, evaluate, and adjust operating data for product and equipment performance.

Identify and escalate production issues, supporting the resolution process.

Participate in experiments and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.

At least 4 years of direct manufacturing experience or an Associate’s degree with 0–2 years of related experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills.

Experience following established processes in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to communicate clearly within the team and escalate issues as needed.

Comfortable working under general supervision with moderate peer review.

Familiarity with kit verification and inventory management.

Exposure to quality testing and process improvement methodologies.

Experience operating advanced manufacturing software or instrumentation.
