Tech 1, Quality Control – 1st Shift (El Paso, TX)
About the Role
Join our quality-driven team as a Tech 1, Quality Control, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining product integrity and safety for a leading manufacturing facility in El Paso. This contractor position offers hands-on experience in sampling, inspections, and compliance while supporting new product launches and continuous improvement. Multiple 1st shift options available: 6am-2:30pm or 8:30am-5pm. Please specify shift preference on your resume.
Responsibilities

Accurately sample and inspect raw materials to ensure regulatory and quality standards are met

Maintain detailed and organized inspection records, reports, notebooks, and worksheets

Support equipment calibration and preventive maintenance programs
-
Provide Quality Control support for new product development and capacity expansion projects

Participate in housekeeping and safety programs to ensure a clean and safe Metrology Laboratory environment

Contribute to waste reduction initiatives related to incoming inspection processes

Demonstrate readiness for regulatory audits (FDA, corporate, internal) and maintain training compliance (GLP, GMP)

Uphold company policies and safety rules; strive for zero serious accidents and support EH&S audits

Required Skills and Experience

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control environment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to follow documented, multi-step procedures consistently

Experience with maintaining quality and calibration records

Preferred Skills
-
Familiarity with GLP and GMP guidelines

Exposure to regulatory audit environments

Experience supporting new product launches or capacity expansion projects
