Responsibilities

• Design and plan warehouse automation layouts, incorporating best warehousing practices.

• Develop and document procedures for receiving, decanting, packing, and material preparation.

• Analyze and sequence operations, balancing operational efficiency, economic value, and workforce ergonomics.

• Conduct tests and measurements throughout production to evaluate material movement, automation utilization, and project payback.

• Establish processing requirements and collaborate on the acquisition and integration of automated warehouse equipment.

• Lead and manage large-scale automation projects from concept to completion.

• Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, or business.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience using SAP Warehouse Management Software.

• 8+ years’ experience in automated end-of-line and logistical solutions.

• 8+ years’ experience in warehouse operations.

• 8+ years’ experience managing large-scale automation projects.

• Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with automation vendors such as Dematic, Honeywell Intelligrated, KNAPP, SSI Schaefer.
