(NOT IN INDIA) Job Summary An HVAC Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. The role ensures HVAC systems operate efficiently, comply with industry standards and safety regulations, and provide optimal indoor air quality and thermal comfort while supporting energy efficiency and sustainability objectives. Responsibilities Design HVAC systems based on project specifications, building codes, and client requirements. Prepare HVAC layouts, equipment selection, load calculations, duct sizing, and piping designs. Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation. Coordinate with architects, civil, electrical, plumbing, and MEP teams during project execution. Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of HVAC equipment and systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable system performance. Troubleshoot HVAC equipment, diagnose technical issues, and implement effective solutions. Monitor system performance and recommend energy-saving improvements and equipment upgrades. Ensure compliance with local building codes, HVAC standards, and health and safety regulations. Prepare technical reports, inspection records, maintenance logs, and project documentation. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and adherence to specifications. Manage contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion. Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control activities. Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and maintenance personnel. Stay updated on emerging HVAC technologies, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
