Job Description Senior UI/UX Expert Position: Senior UI/UX Expert Location: Chennai Experience: 610 Years Employment Type: Contract (C2C) Contract Duration: 6 to 18 Months (Extendable) Domain: Retail / Enterprise Applications / Digital Products About the Role We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Senior UI/UX Expert to lead the design of intuitive, scalable, and user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in UX research, interaction design, visual design, and design systems, with a proven ability to deliver seamless user experiences for enterprise and retail applications. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Business Stakeholders to drive the complete product design lifecyclefrom user research and journey mapping to high-fidelity UI design and developer handoff. Key Responsibilities User Experience (UX) Design Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to identify user needs and business opportunities.Create user personas, journey maps, information architecture, workflows, and user flows.Design wireframes, low/high-fidelity prototypes, and interaction models to validate product concepts.Analyze user feedback, usability metrics, and product analytics to continuously improve user experience.Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define MVPs, feature enhancements, and product roadmaps.Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.User Interface (UI) Design Design modern, responsive, and visually engaging interfaces for web and mobile applications.Develop and maintain scalable design systems, reusable UI components, and design guidelines.Transform UX concepts into intuitive, pixel-perfect user interfaces.Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, color systems, accessibility, and interaction patterns.Prepare detailed design specifications, assets, and developer handoff documentation.Conduct design QA to ensure implementation aligns with approved designs.Accessibility & Design Standards Design accessible digital experiences aligned with WCAG accessibility guidelines.Follow platform-specific standards, including:iOS Human Interface GuidelinesAndroid Material DesignPromote inclusive design best practices across all products.Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Architects, QA, and Business teams.Lead design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews.Mentor junior designers and contribute to design best practices and innovation.Communicate design rationale effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. .
