R&d Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Lead and contribute to research and development projects from concept stage through to prototype and production - Develop and refine product designs, technical specifications, and engineering drawings as per project requirements - Conduct feasibility studies, design analyses, and performance evaluations for new and existing products - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, procurement, and product management to ensure design intent is maintained - Build and test prototypes, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on findings - Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost optimization, and performance enhancement - Prepare detailed technical documentation including design reports, test protocols, BOMs, and specifications - Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor developments to inform R&D strategy - Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety norms - Mentor and guide junior engineers within the R&D team as needed
