This position is critical in protecting sensitive information from cyber threats, ensuring that all user devices operate securely within the corporate infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with IT staff to deploy security solutions, monitor endpoint activities, and respond proactively to potential security breaches. Additionally, the engineer will participate in developing policies and procedures around endpoint security best practices, enhancing the overall security posture of the organization. By leveraging advanced tools and methodologies, this role helps maintain business continuity and mitigates risks associated with cyber incidents, ultimately promoting trust and reliability in the organization's technological framework. Key Responsibilities Implement endpoint security solutions to safeguard organizational assets. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans on endpoints. Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner. Develop and maintain endpoint security policies and procedures. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration of security solutions. Perform malware analysis and remediation on infected endpoints. Document security incidents and formulate reports for analysis. Train and educate staff on endpoint security best practices. Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools. Participate in incident response and recovery efforts. Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. Analyze endpoint performance metrics to identify trends and issues. Coordinate with third-party vendors for endpoint security solutions. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies. Assist in disaster recovery planning related to endpoint breaches. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in endpoint security operations or related field. Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions (e.g., EDR, AV). Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Good knowledge of networking principles and protocols. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Experience with incident response and forensic analysis. Certifications in Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+). Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
