Overview The Intune Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring that an organization can effectively manage and secure its devices. This role is integral to managing the deployment, configuration, and compliance of devices throughout the organization. The Intune Administrator will collaborate closely with IT teams and end-users to optimize device management practices, enhance security, and streamline user experiences. By implementing policies and procedures that safeguard sensitive information while facilitating employee productivity, the Intune Administrator will contribute significantly to the organization’s overall success. Their expertise will ensure that devices are safe, compliant, and functioning optimally, making them a pivotal player in the company’s IT ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Deploy Microsoft Intune policies and configurations to devices. Manage and optimize mobile device management strategies and implementations. Provide ongoing support and training to end-users regarding device use. Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Monitor device compliance and remediate issues as they arise. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data on devices. Assist in troubleshooting device-related issues for users. Develop and maintain documentation for device management processes. Work with IT teams to integrate Intune with other services and solutions. Perform regular audits and assessments of device management effectiveness. Coordinate with vendors for device procurement and management. Manage application deployments and configurations via Intune. Conduct user training sessions on security best practices. Review and update device management policies as needed. Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery plans concerning device management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in IT or systems administration. Proven experience with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM solutions. Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems. Experience with Group Policy and Active Directory. Knowledge of cloud computing and network infrastructure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Certification in Microsoft Intune or related Microsoft technologies is preferred. Experience with PowerShell or scripting for automation. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. Knowledge of security best practices in device management. Familiarity with mobile operating systems, such as iOS and Android. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks. Experience in conducting training for end-users.
