Role Overview
We are looking for a Hands-on Angular UI Architect with deep expertise in modern Angular (v14+), Micro Frontend architecture, and enterprise banking applications.
This is a true architect-level position requiring strong system design capability, architectural decision-making, and ownership of UI strategy
The role demands onsite collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and enterprise architects to deliver scalable, high-performance UI platforms within the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the UI architecture strategy for enterprise-scale banking applications
- Design scalable, reusable, and high-performance frontend architecture
- Actively contribute to coding, development, and complex feature implementation
- Architect and implement Micro Frontend solutions using Webpack Module Federation
- Establish best practices for component design, state management, and performance optimization
- Lead technical discussions with business stakeholders, SMEs, and enterprise architects
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines
- Mentor and guide development teams on design patterns and best practices
- Ensure high test coverage with unit testing and E2E automation
- Drive performance tuning and optimization initiatives
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular 14+
- Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
- Deep understanding of RxJS and reactive programming
- Proven experience in Micro Frontend Architecture (Webpack Module Federation)
- Strong working knowledge of NgRx or advanced state management
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and enterprise component-based design
- Hands-on experience with: Unit Testing (Jasmine / Karma / Jest) E2E Testing (Cypress / Protractor)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong focus on scalability, performance, and maintainable architecture
Required Experience

10+ years of UI / Front-end development experience

Proven experience working in Banking or Financial Services domain (Mandatory)

Experience in designing and architecting large-scale enterprise UI systems

Strong experience in performance optimization and application scalability

Exposure to Nx is a plus

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Hands-on coding is mandatory (not an architect-only or coordination role)

5 days onsite in New Jersey is non-negotiable
