ServiceNow Architect (Onsite) — Dallas, TX We are seeking a senior ServiceNow Architect with deep platform and enterprise architecture experience to lead the design, governance, and delivery of scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and adjacent workflows. This role partners with business and technology stakeholders to define platform strategy, ensure secure integrations, and drive best practices for development and operations. Location & Work Mode: Dallas, Texas — Onsite (in-person) . This position requires working from our Dallas office to collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture, including domain separation (if applicable), data model, CMDB strategy, and environment topology (DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD). Lead implementation and optimization of core modules such as ITSM (Incident/Problem/Change/Request), CMDB/CSDM alignment, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and Asset/Discovery where applicable. Define and enforce platform engineering standards: update set/application lifecycle, code quality, naming conventions, CI/CD, testing strategy, and release governance. Design secure and reliable integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub/Spokes, MID Server patterns, and event/message-based approaches; document interface contracts and error handling. Architect and guide development of custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and ACLs. Establish security and compliance controls: role-based access, data protection, auditability, encryption, and alignment with enterprise IAM patterns (SSO/SAML/OAuth). Provide technical leadership for a team of developers/admins: solution design reviews, mentoring, backlog refinement, estimation, and technical risk management. Drive performance and reliability initiatives: platform health, instance tuning, script optimization, CMDB data quality, monitoring, and upgrade readiness. Required Skills & Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT platforms/enterprise systems with significant hands-on ServiceNow architecture and delivery ownership. Expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities including ITSM, CMDB, CSDM framework, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and reporting/Performance Analytics. Strong JavaScript proficiency within ServiceNow (server-side and client-side) and understanding of Glide APIs. Integration architecture experience: REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, LDAP/AD, SSO (SAML/OAuth), and event-driven patterns. Security architecture knowledge: ACL design, data segregation strategies, secure coding, and audit/compliance considerations. SDLC and agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban), including release management and change control. Experience with instance strategy, upgrades, plugin lifecycle, and platform governance at enterprise scale. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — strongly preferred. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM and/or Discovery/Service Mapping — preferred. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) — preferred.
