Responsibilities Lead the Research & Development function for aluminium extrusion products , alloys, and manufacturing technologies. Develop and execute R&D strategies aligned with business growth and market requirements. Drive new product development from concept through industrialization and commercial launch. Lead material research, alloy optimization, product validation, and performance improvement projects. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to accelerate innovation. Identify emerging technologies, manufacturing trends, and competitive opportunities. Improve extrusion processes, tooling performance, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency. Establish testing methodologies, product validation protocols, and technical documentation. Manage prototype development, customer trials, and product qualification activities. Lead root cause investigations for complex technical challenges and implement sustainable solutions. Build and mentor high-performing technical and engineering teams. Manage R&D budgets, project timelines, resource allocation, and technology roadmaps. Support sustainability initiatives through material optimization, recycling, and energy-efficient manufacturing solutions.
