W2 Only. 100% REMOTE

Required Skills: React.JS - REQUIRED CCNA - REQUIERD Automation experience with Ansible Tower, Jenkins Github and Terraform - REQUIERD AWS - REQUIRED Skills needed: • Front end development (with experience using React framework vs. angular) specifically with experience in using Javascript and Flask • Experience in systems automation using tools such as Ansible Tower, Jenkins, GitHub and Terraform. • Experience with scripting languages such as Python 3 and have experience with REST and other API industry standards. • Experience with AWS platform and suite of services: EC2, Dynamo DB, S3, Lambda, SSM, CloudWatch. Preferred: AWS certified. • Understanding of agile Software Development Methodologies • Understanding of security best practices • Use of CI/CD standards for development • Preferred: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation • Preferred: experience in developing automation solutions for Infrastructure or Network. • CCNA certified or equivalent • Able to communicate effectively to report status and risks in addition to being able to work in a team of software developers using agile framework Scope of work: • Tower upgrade – review existing practices that we are following to do the upgrade and document best practices for the next upgrade. This upgrade is taking a lot of time and effort and only 1 person involved, need the best practice on performing this upgrade documented and implemented by our group. • Tower maintenance & support – best practices to enhance the current support structure we have • Engagement on active projects such as Palo automation, Meraki, etc. to help drive the architecture of solutions across multiple services and applications providing design guidance on software development. • Review of software developments that have been done by members of GE team that are gone, provide written documentation on recommendations to apply software quality standards.
