Product Designer

Role- Product Designer Duration- 6 Months Location- Remote Required Skills UX Job Description This posting is for 2 Senior Level Product Design resources within Kroger's Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Finance and Accounting (SCMFA) group. Kroger Manufacturing is undergoing a large scale modernization effort to upgrade its systems. This position will support Kroger's MAKE Manufacturing project, which is a large effort to modernize current technology and improve the associate experience across 32 plants. These efforts will help to make analytics more accessible to associates, ensure products are delivered on time, reduce out-of-stock products, etc. The roles would involve on-site user research (at the 32 plant locations across the US), service blueprinting & journey mapping, and usability testing and heuristic evaluation. Responsibilities will be light on UI design and prototyping as Kroger is already working with a third-party software vendor in that area. The primary focus of the role is more on other aspects of the product design process, such as user research, user experience (UX) design, product strategy, and interaction design. The software being used is very customizable, so the Product Designers will be heavily involved with making sure the software meets the needs of Kroger associates. Ideal candidates will have: 7+ years of experience in UX design, bonus if at the enterprise level Any type of experience in services design, information architecture, closer to underlying systems vs frontend UX experience Experience with usability testing - the project is about to go into a big phase of usability testing Experience working on a project or task that involved a large scope or a significant number of users, customers, or elements - have done things at scale Desire to solve large, complex business problems Self-starter mentality; not afraid of ambiguity Experience working in agile environment, especially on large programs Previous manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise UX is preferred but not required -- ---- Thanks & Regards, Tejash - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
