Tableau Developer

Role: TABLEAU DEVELOPER

Location: 100% REMOTE Duration: 12 months contract Client: CHARLES SCHWAB

Must have: • -at least 2-4 years of RECENT tableau experience • -strong communication

• in-depth knowledge of tableau • -finance and insurance experience is a plus • -a public portfolio or website, Tableau Certification

Project: • they will be working on the technical documentation for their projects in addition to doing work in Tableau, SQL

Timeline: onboard ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Tableau Developer you will: • Develop new and build improvements on existing reports and dashboards using Tableau • Build and publish customized, interactive Tableau reports and dashboards using stack bars, scatterplots, geographical maps, and other innovative plot and chart tools • Design and optimize dashboards for the best possible load times Embed and integrate dashboards in existing web apps (salesforce and other technologies). • Act as a subject matter expert on data refresh scheduling and work cross-collaboratively to modify schedules and subscriptions on Tableau Server • Design actionable and interactive dashboards and reports • Work closely with our Data Technology Team and Tableau COE • Apply graphical and visual design concepts • Perform detailed data analysis of data structures, content, and quality, and provide data dictionaries for all new Tableau solutions • Push Tableau solutions to Tableau Server, and connect with production servers • Work with core BI team to share data model and query needs to support analytic solutions • Share and explain Tableau advanced concepts with rest of the team • Apply advanced knowledge of Tableau Data visualization and Alteryx Data blending

We are excited about you if you have these things: • 3– 5 years of Tableau development experience • 5-7 years’ experience with relational databases and SQL • Tableau Desktop Certified Professional (plus) • Share your Tableau Public Portfolio(plus) with us • Experience with other BI tools (plus) • Advanced knowledge of programing languages, R, Python, SQL, HTML, Java Script, C# • Familiarity with the Investment Management/Finance/Insurance industry • Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex solutions • Share your Tableau Public Portfolio(plus) with us!
