UI Developer on W2

Job title: UI Developer Location: Remote Terms/Duration: 12 month contract Project: The team is seeking a candidate who can assist in tackling the 508 compliance issues in their current applications. In later months, there may be an additional or new project. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Apply other approaches as needed, such as JSON, AJAX and JQUERY Develop successful user interfaces that are standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible, and performance optimized Create and maintain a repository of common and reusable code Develop and maintain documentation for front end code Act as a support resource for back end developers using pre-built front end components Work with development leads to ensure consistent and correct integration with back end code and services Technical Requirements: HTML/CSS JavaScript Jquery Nice to haves: Angular Experience with 508 compliance Azure GitLab Additional Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years experience building user interfaces for large, complex template-based websites Good working knowledge of SQL Competency in developing standards-compliant user interfaces accessible via the web Proven ability to create clean and reusable code libraries Proven ability to develop cross-browser compatible user interfaces Proven ability to translate design documents into semantic code Experience using web development tools such as Firebug, Developer Toolbar, or DebugBar Comfortable working in a team environment on large-scale projects Excellent organizational, communication, and interaction skills
