UI/UX Designer

Role: UI/UX Designer.

Duration: 6+ month contract LOCATION: 100% remote

The UI/UX Designer will work with the application development team to enhance the visual appeal and usability of software. A successful candidate will be focused on creating a positive online user experience while providing input on functional requirements, product designs, and system look and feel for both web-based and native software applications. The candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of application flow, ease of use, and simplistic design; and the ability to introduce and apply best practices for design across the team. Experience with front-end application development – including JS, HTML, React, React-Native – will be helpful.

Duties and Responsibilities: As a UI/UX Designer, the candidate will help conceptualize and design inspired, user-centered solutions to business problems by: Understanding, analyzing, and evaluating user needs Working with product stakeholders to identify pain points and devise innovative solutions Developing wireframes and workflows that are intuitive and efficient Designing and implementing user interfaces that will promote a high level of adoption by stakeholders Optimizing existing user interface designs

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required 5+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX analysis and design The ability to convey complex concepts in a simple manner An eye for visual design Familiarity with Adobe XD user experience design tool Ability to create clickable prototypes Experience implementing new designs using HTML, CSS, and JS The ability to communicate, both verbally and through writing, with a wide range of stakeholders Candidates must provide a portfolio or list of links representative of their work
