UI/UX DESIGNER

Role: UI/UX Designer

Duration: 6 months to hire Location: Hyattsville, MD – hybrid 2x week onsite Visa: W2 role Rate: $55/hr

Job Description: We are currently on the lookout for a Mid-Level UI/UX Developer. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in shaping intuitive user experiences and designing modern user interfaces that meet and exceed customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative UI/UX designs that enhance application usability. • Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to define and implement product direction, visuals, and experience. • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to gather insights for design improvements. • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering. • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards. • Test developed applications for usability and make necessary adjustments based on user feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX design and development • Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio. • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping. • Experience with UI/UX design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar. • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. • Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies. • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
