About the role
Role: UI/UX Developer Location: 100% remote Duration: 12 Months Experience in a financial company (Experience with Equities, Derivatives, Futures, FX, and/or Fixed Income trading, analytics, and reporting) . Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Front-End Developer to get involved from the ground-up, as we design, architect, and build a state-of-the-art platform to empower extensive reporting capabilities, research, and real-time analytics, in support of our new global, multi-asset trading organization. Role-Specific Responsibilities • Play a key senior role in the design, architecture, and implementation of a web-based user interface with the purpose of: o Trading research platform o Real-time decision support service o Reporting platform and service • Build a historical and real-time data visualization and report generation platform for a global, multi-asset trading organization. • Provide expert-level front-end software development, testing, security, and documentation. • Act as principal UX subject matter expert to perform and provide guidance and technical expertise for all user experience activities including user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design. • Consult on and interprets user feedback and insights to improve the user experience. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science, UX design, engineering, statistics or related discipline OR equivalent work experience is required. • Nine to eleven (9-11) years of experience in front-end software development is required. • Proficient in developing solutions with front-end JavaScript frameworks and technologies, preferably using ReactJS, Angular, or similar frameworks. • Strong knowledge of secure website coding practices and user authentication and authorization • Experience with Equities, Derivatives, Futures, FX, and/or Fixed Income trading, analytics, and reporting. • • What are the top 3 skills : § Proficient in developing solutions with front-end JavaScript frameworks and technologies, preferably using ReactJS, Angular, or similar frameworks. § Expert in user interface design for trade data analytics and reporting tools § Experience with Equities, Derivatives, Futures, FX, and/or Fixed Income trading, analytics, and reporting.
