UI/UX Developer

Role:UI/UX Developer

Location: Hyattsville, MD – hybrid 2x week onsite duration:12 Months

Responsibilities

 Develop and implement innovative UI/UX designs that enhance application usability.  Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to define and implement product direction, visuals, and experience.  Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to gather insights for design improvements.  Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.  Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.  Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.  Test developed applications for usability and make necessary adjustments based on user feedback.

Qualifications

 5+ years of experience in UX design and development  Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.  Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.  Experience with UI/UX design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.  Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.  Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.  Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
