Location: Concord or Tewksbury, MA (Hybrid Remote—Boston area preferred; occasional on-site at Hanscom for SIPR access) Duration: 6 months | Pay Rate: $64.00 - $66.00/hr (W2)

As a Cloud Systems Engineer 3, you will play a pivotal role in driving the stability, scalability, and reliability of advanced cloud-based networks and software systems. Responsibilities

• Ensure robust operation and sustainability of distributed cloud-based systems and networks

• Integrate, verify, and validate comprehensive system solutions for both hardware and software

• Develop proactive monitoring and management mechanisms for distributed virtual machines

• Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition

• Leverage trends and metrics to recommend and implement process improvements

• Address system functionality, performance, and configuration issues to maximize uptime and efficiency

• Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud systems engineering or similar roles

• Proven expertise with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems

• Ability to conduct system integration, functional and timeline analysis, and trade studies

• Experience with system validation, performance tuning, and configuration management

• IAT-2 certification and at least one cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

• Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting systems requiring SIPR access

• Familiarity with large-scale, mission-critical government or defense environments

• Advanced knowledge of proactive health monitoring tools
