Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the operation of various cloud-based systems, ensuring seamless performance and security.

• Set up and manage administrator and service accounts, keeping system documentation and tenant inventory up to date.

• Allocate mass storage resources and install system-wide software for robust cloud infrastructure.

• Coordinate with network administrators to ensure integrated network-cloud functionality.

• Respond rapidly to large-scale virtual resource events, such as VM and storage instantiation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical software and system failures to minimize downtime.

• Identify, propose, and implement technical solutions for automation, efficiency, and scalability.

• Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud administration.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, system performance tuning, and documentation.

• Experience handling virtual machines, storage resources, and large-scale events in cloud environments.

• Preferred Skills

• IAT-2 certification.

• One or more cloud-specific certifications within 6 months of hire (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

• Proven experience with cloud automation tools and scripting.
