Azure DevOps Engineer II – Fully Remote (US, East Coast Hours)
About the Role
Join an innovative team as an Azure DevOps Engineer II, leveraging your expertise to drive continuous improvement in software delivery and developer experience. This fully remote role empowers you to work from anywhere in the US (East Coast hours required), collaborating with forward-thinking technologists to streamline processes, implement automation, and support critical cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Partner with Tech Leads and developers to identify and resolve bottlenecks in development and deployment cycles

Architect and automate deployment pipelines, ensuring high-quality and secure code delivery

Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure-as-code solutions, primarily using Azure and related cloud technologies

Conduct routine system health checks, monitor environments, and generate status reports

Deploy application artifacts to target environments, ensuring smooth releases
-
Gather feedback from developers to continually enhance the development workflow
-
Collaborate with the DevOps team to deliver holistic solutions across the organization
-
Lead process improvement initiatives that increase delivery speed and code quality
-
Required Skills and Experience
-
2–5 years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles within cross-functional agile teams
-
Strong development skills in .NET, C#, and Java
-
Proficient in scripting languages: Bash, Perl, Powershell
-
Hands-on experience with Azure, including Web Functions, Webhooks, Service Bus, Queue
-
Background in building and maintaining APIs
-
Proficiency with deployment automation tools such as Terraform and Azure DevOps (ADO)
-
Familiarity with container technologies: Docker, OpenShift
-
Experience with cluster management tools like Kubernetes
-
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, Git, Sonar
-
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
-
Passion for emerging technologies and a proactive, self-starting attitude

Preferred Skills
-
Exposure to AWS cloud environments

Experience with additional CI/CD tools (Hudson, Ant)

Track record of driving process improvements in Agile environments
