About the Role
Join the Workplace AI and Data Analytics organization as a Fabric Platform Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of enterprise data analytics. As part of a rapidly expanding team, you will own, automate, and mature Microsoft Fabric platform environments, driving platform excellence and supporting enterprise-scale Power BI adoption. This is an exciting opportunity to set standards, streamline operations, and directly influence the platform’s evolution within a Microsoft E5-centric environment.
Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft Fabric platform environments, ensuring operational excellence and reliability

Build, automate, and optimize environment provisioning processes to accelerate platform deployment

Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless Fabric deployments using GitHub workflows
-
Oversee Fabric environment creation, configuration, and capacity management to support business growth

Configure and maintain Power BI environments and associated services for enterprise-scale analytics
-
Support Data Gateway implementation and administration for secure, seamless data integration
-
Integrate diverse data sources from AWS, Microsoft 365, GCP, and other platforms to centralize analytics
-
Continuously identify and automate manual operational tasks for increased efficiency and governance
-
Partner with AI and engineering teams to enable future Copilot and AI-powered initiatives

Establish and enforce platform governance, standards, and operational best practices

Required Skills and Experience
-
Direct, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric platform administration in enterprise settings
-
Proven ability to support and troubleshoot Fabric environments and related services
-
In-depth knowledge of Power BI, Data Gateway, OneLake, and Fabric operational management
-
Competence in capacity planning and resource management for data platforms
-
Experience with GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
-
Familiarity with integrating cloud-hosted data sources (AWS, Microsoft 365, GCP)

Scripting or automation expertise (e.g., PowerShell)

Preferred Skills

Infrastructure-as-Code and advanced platform automation experience

DevOps practices and deployment pipeline optimization

Exposure to environments where operational processes are still maturing
