Job Summary: GCP Cloud Engineer (Terraform Specialist) Location: Remote (India hours, overlap with US mornings) | Contract (6–12+ months)

As a senior GCP Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure, enabling AI-driven solutions for enterprise users. This is a high-impact, staff augmentation position where you’ll hit the ground running and make an immediate difference.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve ServiceNow tickets related to GCP infrastructure

• Translate business requirements into Terraform code for GCP provisioning

• Create and manage IAM permissions, service accounts, storage buckets, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and load balancers

• Provision new GCP projects and grant BigQuery dataset/table access

• Uphold least-privilege access principles and work directly with users to determine appropriate permissions

• Ensure compliance with existing Terraform standards and processes

• Support AI-focused teams using Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, OpenAI/ChatGPT, Google AI Studio, and more

• Contribute to the reduction of workload for the current GCP engineering team

• Required Skills and Experience

• Proven, senior-level hands-on experience with GCP and Terraform (GCP-specific)

• Deep understanding of GCP services: IAM, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Storage Buckets, Load Balancers, Service Accounts

• Strong background in infrastructure as code, with the ability to become productive with minimal ramp-up time

• Experience working in cloud environments where console access is restricted in favor of Terraform automation

• Ability to independently manage multiple infrastructure tickets and projects

• Preferred Skills

• Prior experience supporting AI/ML or data engineering teams in a cloud environment

• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing systems

• Experience in AI infrastructure provisioning for Vertex AI or similar platforms
