About the role
Data Engineer – Contract to Hire (Hybrid, No Sponsorship)
Location: Wayne, PA | Plano, TX | Charlotte, NC | Scottsdale, AZ Job Type: Contract to Hire (Hybrid, 3 days on-site/week) Eligibility: US Citizens/Green Card Holders only (no sponsorship provided)

You’ll architect and manage robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes that drive business insight and decision-making. Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL processes for real-time and offline analytics

Develop and maintain data pipelines and database systems to ensure efficient integration and data flow

Troubleshoot, test, and validate code for accuracy, consistency, and integrity

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and high-quality code
-
Integrate large-scale data from diverse sources to support analytics
-
Collaborate with internal partners to understand business needs and deliver impactful solutions
-
Provide technical expertise in tools, technologies, and company-wide data systems
-
Lead solution development phases, mentor peers, and present technical considerations to stakeholders

Deliver training sessions and create job aids for team members and business users
-
Test and implement new software releases, coordinating with vendors as needed

Participate in special projects and other assignments as required

Required Skills and Experience
-
5+ years in data analytics, programming, database administration, or data management
-
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, ETL processes

Hands-on experience with AWS services: Glue ETL, Lambda, Redshift, S3
-
Experience with AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

Proficiency in Snowflake
-
Background in Data Integration, Machine Learning, and Data Governance

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Skills

Advanced experience with additional AWS analytics services

Prior experience teaching or mentoring technical teams

Experience with regression testing and vendor management
