The role involves identifying workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement fire safety and occupational health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards. Monitor fire protection systems, emergency equipment, and safety devices. Conduct fire drills, emergency response exercises, and evacuation training. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events and prepare detailed reports. Provide safety induction and training programs for employees and contractors. Maintain records of safety inspections, permits, incidents, and compliance activities. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work sites. Prepare safety reports, documentation, and statutory compliance records.
