Key Responsibilities Analyze current supply chain operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for cost reduction. Develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels, warehousing, and transportation logistics. Design and manage distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Utilize simulation and modeling tools to forecast demand and plan capacity. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to improve performance and strengthen relationships. Implement best practices in supply chain management, including Just-In-Time (JIT) and Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI). Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and total logistics cost. Work with IT teams to enhance supply chain visibility through system improvements and data analytics. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics and warehousing. Contribute to strategic planning for long-term supply chain development and resilience. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain and logistics. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and transportation dynamics. Proficiency in supply chain simulation and optimization software (e.g., AnyLogic, Llamasoft). Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills for working with internal stakeholders and external partners. Ability to manage complex projects and adapt to changing business needs. Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Experience in the FMCG or agricultural sector is preferred for this Patna-based position.
