As a Process Engineer at our client's industrial manufacturing sector in Delhi, Delhi, IN, you play a critical role in optimizing production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in industrial engineering principles, process improvement, lean manufacturing techniques, and statistical process control (SPC) will be vital in driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining the company's competitive edge. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality. - Develop and implement process optimization strategies using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. - Design and implement new production processes or modify existing ones to meet changing demands and specifications. - Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor process performance and identify deviations. - Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime. - Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes. - Conduct time and motion studies to improve workflow and productivity. - Collaborate with R&D, production, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. - Develop and manage project plans for process improvement initiatives. - Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. - Train production staff on new processes and quality standards. - Maintain detailed records of process performance, improvements, and changes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment. - Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC principles. - Proven ability to analyze complex production data and implement effective solutions. - Experience with process simulation and modeling software is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. - Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing. - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience in the specific manufacturing sector of the client is advantageous.
