About the Role Our client, a highly reputable national distributor, is seeking a sharp and analytical Warehouse Process Improvement Analyst to join their core operations team in Pune, Maharashtra, IN . This role is pivotal in identifying inefficiencies and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance overall warehouse performance. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in process analysis, optimization techniques, and data interpretation to drive significant improvements in productivity, cost reduction, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing warehouse processes and workflows to identify areas of inefficiency, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Design, develop, and implement new processes and procedures to optimize warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to collect, interpret, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency and productivity. Conduct time and motion studies, workflow mapping, and root cause analysis to understand operational challenges. Collaborate with warehouse management and operational staff to gain insights and ensure buy-in for proposed changes. Develop and deliver training materials to support the implementation of new processes and best practices. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make necessary adjustments to ensure sustained improvements. Research and recommend new technologies or automation solutions that could enhance warehouse operations. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on findings, recommendations, and project progress. Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the warehouse operations in Pune, Maharashtra, IN . Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in process analysis, continuous improvement, or operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights. Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI). Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and results.
